The WearPico App project encompasses the development of both a smartwatch and an Android application to complement it.
The smartwatch, functioning as an embedded system without a full operating system, offers essential clock features alongside advanced capabilities such as receiving notifications, handling calls, and controlling media playback on paired smartphones. Equipped with a touchscreen, accelerometer, buzzer for alarms, and vibration motor, the smartwatch provides a comprehensive user experience.
On the mobile side, the associated Android application facilitates communication with the smartwatch via Bluetooth, enabling users to set alarms and manage background services like notifications and media controls through Android services.
